Description:
[My Generation My Music] In Memoriam. David Bowie, who passed away suddenly after leaving the album "★," released his debut album on Decca's Durham label in 1967, with Mike Vernon as producer (who later founded Blue Horizon and produced Fleetwood Mac and Chicken Shack) and Gus Dudgeon as engineer (also famous for Elton John's various works). The debut album was released in 1967 on Decca's Deram label. The album was produced in a folk/singer/songwriter style like Bob Dylan, based on the idea of Kenneth Pitt, who was the manager at that time. The cover design is based on the American LP released at the time, and the 12-page booklet edited in the UK in 2010 includes a "Journal of the Durham Years. 2010 remastering (mastered by Peter Mew and Tris Penna at Abbey Road Studios). Newly written commentary/lyrics/translation by Eiichi Yoshimura.
