Original gloss chapter ring dial, original lume - the dial is in superlative condition, with a deep and lustrous shine - small drag mark at the 6 o'clock mark

This glossy example is all the more interesting due to the small dot of lume below the number 6, at the 30 minute mark of the chapter ring. Dubbed an "exclamation point" by collectors, this dot is Rolex's way of notifying customers that the radiation of the radium material used has been adapted to new regulations set by the Atomic Energy Commission in the late 1950s and first few years of the 1960s (Quote - Hodinkee)
