Titan^® 12-Turn 550 Modified Motor
1/16 Summit includes a powerful Titan 12T 550 modified motor with internal cooling fan - an industry first for this class of truck! The Titan's oversized armature (30% larger compared to 540-sized armatures) features 12 turns of pure copper wire for big torque and increased power-handling capabilities. The integrated cooling fan lowers running temperatures for more fun behind the wheel. The Titan 12T requires very little maintenance and provides consistent torque and high speeds run-after-run, without fading. Beyond the specs, the Titan 12T is made for rock-crushing torque, hardcore wheelie launches, explosive jumping, and just about any other 4-wheel fun that demands real horsepower.

XL-2.5 Waterproof Electronic Speed Control
Designed and engineered by Traxxas, the XL-2.5 electronic speed control delivers smooth throttle control and is completely waterproof for all-weather RC driving fun. The XL-2.5 features three throttle profiles, Thermal Shutdown Protection, 6-7 cell NiMH and 2-cell LiPo compatibility, low voltage detection, and a built-in BEC. High-frequency operation combined with ultra-low resistance make the XL-2.5 an efficient and ultra-smooth fully proportional speed control. The XL-2.5 is manufactured by Traxxas to ensure the highest level of quality and support.

Precision 2.4GHz Control
Switch on the power and drive! That's all there is to it with the TQ™ 2.4GHz radio system. There are no frequencies to manage, so the focus is on having fun. Race multiple vehicles side by side without interference. The TQ's advanced programming provides long-range control with smooth, glitch-free performance. The TQ's ergonomic design is comfortable for all day driving with an internal antenna that is impervious to damage.

3-channel Micro Receiver with Fail-Safe Security
The TQ 2.4GHz micro receiver fits easily into almost any vehicle, and features dual channel-1 steering outputs. The integrated LINK button makes it fast and easy to bind the receiver, and the two-color LED indicates power-on and bind status for fool-proof control and convenience. In the event of signal loss due to an accidental transmitter switch-off or depleted batteries, the receiver will automatically return the throttle to neutral and hold the last commanded steering position. The fail safe programming is conveniently built-in and does not need to be set or activated.

Trail-Ready Styling With Realistic ExoCage
Hardcore full-size off-roaders protect their rigs with external roll cages, and Summit follows suit with its rugged ExoCage. The rugged bolt-on cage provides functional protection and incorporates tough-looking fender flares and a realistic light bar to complete Summit's trail-ready look.

Trail-Blazing LED Lights
Light up the trail at night with Summit’s fully functional LED light kit. With four LEDs on the front bumper and another four on top of the roll cage, Summit illuminates the path ahead. Dual red LEDs in the rear bumper and dual high-mounted tail lights let you track Summit’s progress from behind.

2.2” Geode Wheels and Canyon AT Tires
Dirt, mud, snow…no matter where you run your Summit, you can count on it to dig in hard with its aggressive Canyon AT tires. The multi-terrain tread features large, angular lugs that put Titan horsepower to the ground for powerful acceleration and all-terrain traction. Tough 2.2” black Geode wheels support the tires with molded-in “beadlock” rings.

Ball-Bearing Transmission with Slipper Clutch
Built tough enough to handle optional hard-hitting brushless horsepower without costly upgrades, the 1/16 Summit's high-efficiency, heavy-duty transmission provides full-throttle fun with precision ball bearings and high-strength gears. An adjustable slipper clutch lets you tailor power delivery to suit the terrain and your driving style, and makes certain every watt of power is turned into pure performance.

Sealed Silicone-Filled Differentials
An industry first! Only Traxxas offers the superior power-handling and tuning capability of sealed differentials in 1/16 scale. The heavy-duty, steel-gear diffs are factory-filled with premium silicone fluid to prevent unloading and maintain maximum traction and control.

Pivot Ball Suspension
The Summit's pivot-ball suspension provides smooth articulation and easy adjustment. Rubber-sealed ball bearings ward off dirt, increase precision, and reduce friction, while the oversized 8x12 mm inboard bearings maximize durability. For extra security, the heavy-duty axle joint crosspins are captured by the inner bearings—another example of Traxxas' attention to every detail.

Universal-Joint Driveshafts
The 1/16 Summit's telescoping, universal-joint axles provide optimum drivetrain efficiency and maximum power transfer. The true-curvilinear spline design operates freely, and the oversized U-joints set the standard for strength and high-power durability.

Traxxas Power Cell™ NiMH Battery with iD^®
In addition to the convenient AC wall-outlet charger, 1/16 Summit also includes an iD-equipped Power Cell™ NiMH battery to extract all the performance that's been engineered into your Traxxas model. Accessory Traxxas iD chargers (sold separately) auto-detect Traxxas iD Power Cell batteries and automatically set and optimize charge settings for unmatched charging safety and simplicity. Power Cell packs provide free-flowing power and maximum punch with premium quality, low-resistance cells; flexible, silicone-jacketed wire; heavy-duty welded tabs; and high-output, gold plated, patented, High-Current Connectors. For even greater speed and runtime, a full line of optional Traxxas iD Power Cell NiMH and LiPo batteries are available.

Waterproof Electronics
Mud. Water. Snow. 1/16 Summit's waterproof electronics and fully sealed receiver box let you make tracks in conditions that leave other trucks parked at home. Traxxas' patented innovative waterproof receiver box puts 1/16 Summit in a league of its own. The antenna and servo wires route neatly through a special watertight seal. To protect the receiver from dust and water a custom shaped blue O-ring seals the receiver box. Thanks to the unique design, the receiver can be removed for service and even aftermarket receivers can be used, without losing the sealing properties of the box.

Digital High-Torque Waterproof Steering Servo
Small but powerful, the 2080 servo cranks out 41.7 oz.-in. of tire-turning torque with digital circuitry for responsive control—even in water, mud and snow, thanks to its o-ring-sealed waterproof construction.

Dual Battery Compartments
1/16 Summit comes ready to tackle the trail with its included 7.2-volt Power Cell NiMH battery pack—but that's just the beginning. The chassis' dual battery compartments let you add a second NiMH battery pack and Traxxas parallel connector (both sold separately) for twice the run time and twice the fun!

Quick-Release Battery Doors
Summit uses an innovative solution for easy battery installation. Quick-release battery doors snap open and closed in seconds for fast and easy access. There are no clips to lose in the field, and fast battery changes during pit stops let you spend more time on the trail and less time on the bench.

Battery Compartment Vents
Resembling the exhaust ducts of a turbine powered jet, the futuristic battery vents are securely mounted on the chassis. In addition to offering entrance and exit cooling, the oversized openings incorporate latches that insert into the battery door clasps. The battery compartment vents symbolize the sleek and high-tech image that places Traxxas 1/16 scale vehicles in a class all their own.

Long Travel Suspension
The Summit's Long Travel rockers deliver over 50 mm of suspension articulation for bump and jump handling capability far beyond that of any “mini” truck. Tunable damping rates, independent ride height adjustment, and the absolute highest level of control for any situation give Summit total control of any terrain.

Oil-Filled GTR Shocks™
1/16 Summit's super-smooth oil-filled shocks damp the suspension and maintain control no matter how rugged the terrain. They are fully tuneable and include pressure bladders for air/oil separation and threaded spring pre-load collars for quick ride height adjustments.

Revo-Spec Suspension
A defining feature of the Summit, expertly executed in 1/16 scale—the unique Revo^®-Spec suspension places the shocks inboard on the chassis, away from dirt and debris, and amplifies the shocks’ travel for incredible off-road capability without the weight of extra-long shocks. Installed Long-Travel rockers provide linear travel; optional Progressive rockers are available to tune the Summit with damping and spring rates that increase as the suspension compresses.

Rubber-Sealed Ball Bearings
Precision rubber-sealed bearings offer the ultimate in low-friction performance and maximum protection in dirty environments. They are used in all exposed locations on the truck and are virtually maintenance free.

Hex Hardware
The 1/16 Summit uses pro-quality, high-grade, metric hex-drive throughout for extra strength, and easy maintenance and repair. The black-oxide rust-resistant finish provides a high tech-look and feel.
