Overview

The MC Board (Motion Control Board) is the main circuit board dedicated to controlling all physical movements and power distribution within the X1C 3D printer. It acts as the central hub for the printer's motion system.

The MC Board is responsible for coordinating and managing:

• Motor Drives: Controlling stepper motors for X, Y, Z axes, and the extruder.
• Sensors: Processing feedback from various end stops and motion sensors.
• Power Distribution: Regulating and distributing power to necessary components.

Its proper function is critical for maintaining print accuracy, speed, and overall printer stability.

Precautions

1. Power Disconnection: Always ensure the printer is completely powered off and unplugged from the mains power before handling or replacing the MC Board.
2. Electrostatic Discharge (ESD): Handle the board by its edges and use appropriate ESD precautions (like an anti-static wrist strap) to prevent damage to sensitive components.
3. Cable Seating: Pay close attention to the orientation and secure seating of all cables, especially high-current connectors and motor cables, as improper connection can cause immediate damage or operational failure.
