A Special Edition of Devotion by Nicolette Johnson. This includes the limited edition book and an object handmade by Nicolette, in your choice of silver or bronze glaze. The stoneware vases are individually wheel thrown, glazed, and fired in my home studio. They are limited to only 50 of each and are numbered on the bottom. The Special Edition book has a custom design embossed on the title page and is signed. These are limited to 100 copies.

Devotion is an intimate portrait of an artist chronicling the first ten years of her career in ceramics. Beginning with a first encounter with clay, Nicolette Johnson offers honest and unguarded vignettes as the book navigates significant moments in her life. With 144 pages, Devotion is generously filled with photographs taken by Nicolette of her work, studio, and self portraits.

A beautiful object in itself, the book acts as a survey of a decade spent making ceramics, highlighting the breadth of pottery as a form of expression and devotion.

Devotion includes an introduction by Dr. Sarah Engledow and a foreword by Kylie Johnson. It is published by paper boat press EDITIONS.
