This book describes all the naturally occurring eucalypts in the goldfields region of Western Australia, a vast area of 640 square kilometres incorporating the world-renowned Great Western Woodlands and the Western Australia section of the amazing Great Victorian Desert.

Within this vast area there are 173 different eucalypt species and subspecies, which represents around 20% of all known eucalypts.
