Organic MCT Oil is distilled from coconut oil and is a concentrated source of MCTs (medium-chain triglycerides). This ingredient, sometimes known as fractionated coconut oil, is made from organic virgin coconut oil or organic coconut oil, RBD. It is inter-esterified, a mechanical process allowed under the USDA-NOP regulation. Organic MCT Oil is a preferred base in cosmetics because of its versatility and properties. The oil is also known as Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride under the INCI rules and is deodorized.
