The HIMA X-AI 32 01 is a high-density 32-channel Analog Input Module for the HIMax scalable safety platform, designed for critical industrial applications that require SIL 3 safety integrity, including Emergency Shutdown (ESD), Fire and Gas (F&G), and Burner Management Systems (BMS). This module is ideal for environments that demand constant availability and can be replaced or reconfigured without stopping the controller, ensuring "Availability for Life."

It supports 4-20 mA signals and offers integrated transmitter supply for each channel, allowing it to directly power 2-wire or 3-wire field transmitters. The X-AI 32 01 is built for high reliability with features like advanced diagnostics, redundancy options, and hot-swapping capability, making it a flexible solution for safety-critical systems.

  • X-CB 008 01: Standard version for non-redundant wiring.

The X-AI 32 01 does not have terminals on the module itself. It requires a Base Plate and a specific Connector Board to handle the field wiring.

Maintenance & Diagnostics:

The X-AI 32 01 includes LED indicators to assist with diagnostics and troubleshooting:

• Run (Green): The module is operating normally.

• Err (Red): Indicates an internal fault or configuration error.

• Channel LEDs (Yellow): Flashing lights indicate field-side errors, such as current out of range or line breaks.

For HART communication (with smart field instruments), the X-HART 32 01 sidecar module is required, or HART tunneling must be configured within the SILworX software.
