Gary Moore
Description:
Gary Moore was a rock guitarist who released many hit albums as a hard rock guitarist in the 70's and 80's. In the late 80's, he returned to blues music and gained a new following, but died suddenly at the age of 58 in February, 2011. In January 1984, Gary Moore released his second album "Victims of the Future" on Virgin Records, and it was a hit, reaching No. 12 in the UK album charts. The band's first world tour, which included a concert in their hometown of Belfast, Northern Ireland, was broadcast as a special program with documentaries and interviews. This live album is composed entirely of live recordings from the special program, and features a selection of representative songs from the set list of the day. Among the songs, "A Walk in Paris," in which Thin Lizzy's Phil Lynott, an old friend of the band, joins as a guest, is a valuable live archive. Also included as a bonus track is "Empty Room," which was performed live in a studio in London.
