The SPSEM11 is a high-precision Sequence of Events (SOE) Master Module designed for the ABB Symphony Plus and Harmony Rack I/O systems. Its primary technical function is to provide millisecond-accurate time-stamping for digital state changes across the industrial network. In high-availability environments, the SPSEM11 acts as the central coordinator for SOE data, ensuring that events such as turbine trips, breaker transitions, and alarm sequences are recorded with a resolution of 1 ms or better. This allows engineers to perform detailed root-cause analysis after complex system upsets.
