Antaboga, or Anataboga or Anantaboga is a giant serpernt in pre-Islamic Javanese & Balinese Mythology. Believed to be the only existing thing at the beginning of time, Antaboga meditated and later evolved into a turtle named Bedawang, from which all other creations sprang from. 

In Javanese puppetry, wayang, Antaboga is described as the King of Serpents who resides in a place called Saptapralata heaven, or the seven layers of the earth that are underground. His name derives from the Sanskrit term Ananta meaning endless, and Boga meaning food, wealth or possession. The name Anantaboga could then be translated to mean 'endless food' or 'endless wealth'. In Balinese Mythology, Antaboga takes the form of a crossbreed between serpent and Garuda. He is usually depicted with a crown.
