Threat coverage

The vest carries a Level IIIA (ambient) and HG2 (ambient) ballistic rating, independently tested against handgun threats up to and including .44 Magnum. Coverage extends across the front, back, and sides of the torso, providing all-around soft armor protection in a single wearable platform. Lower handgun threats — including 9mm and .357 Magnum — fall within the rated threat envelope.

This vest does not stop rifle-caliber rounds. Front and back hard armor plate (HAP) pockets are built in, allowing users to insert hard armor plates when a higher threat level is anticipated. Anti-stab and anti-spike protection can be added to the vest upon request for environments where edged-weapon threats are also a concern.

Visibility and identification

The vest ships in high-vis yellow with a reflective gray band, meeting the visibility requirements common to EMS and emergency rescue operations. Velcro identification patches are positioned on both the front and back of the vest.
