The FCNCS-2SFP fiber media converter/extender can be utilized to convert/extend the optical network based on the small-form pluggable transceivers (SFP) selected. It comes with two SFP slots that can support hot-pluggable functionality, allowing the transceiver to be removed without affecting the network connection.

The FCNCS-2SFP fiber media converter/extender supports 155Mbps and 1.25Gbps transceiver types. It allows the network connection to be converted from Fast Ethernet to Gigabit Ethernet without changing the media converter. It also supports the conversion of different wavelengths and dual and single optical fiber connections.
