The Inés Gilet is a Reine Signature Style sleeveless blazer with a military-inspired look. It features buttoned epaulettes, topstitching, large lapels, breast concertina pockets with flaps, welt pocket flaps, a drawstring waist, and a dual-ended zip closure. Fully lined.

For virtual fittings, we can usually send a sample garment for you to try on. We source suitable fabrics in colours you prefer, with each piece made to your exact proportions for exceptional style and comfortable fit.

DESIGNER'S NOTE

I first made Inés about twenty years ago, and it quickly became a wardrobe favourite. I’ve had versions in dark khaki linen, sleek black satin, and white linen – they all worked. I’ve always loved the safari-style pockets and the subtle military edge. It has that effortlessly cool feel that never dates.

One of the details that really makes it is the hidden drawstring – a discreet touch that shapes the waist and gives great proportion, even if you don’t naturally have one.

In cooler weather, I layer it over a turtleneck or a classic shirt with pants. In summer, I wear it sleeveless with shorts and heels. And when I’m after something equestrian-inspired, it’s always leggings and riding boots.
