This hub has been specifically designed and developed for the revolutionary RS-1 inverted fork: a single carbon mainframe which comprises steering tube, fork crown and legs. The peculiarity of the fork RS-1 is not just the top but also its lower part: Predictive Steering is in fact a complex innovative system that allows dropouts and hub to interface with each other and allows great steering performances both in terms of lightness for cross-country and in terms of stiffness for trail riding.

With the Predictive Steering SRAM hub, thanks to its unprecedented stiffness and precision, uncertainty is a thing of the past. The innovative upside-down fork, axle and damping system come together and form the core of Predictive Steering. The RS-1 fork is extremely stable and provides a large diameter of the pivot shaft for an indestructible connection where the pin locks and thus achieves maximum torsional rigidity. The new Maxle Ultimate pin completes the wheel connection with greater and stronger locking force than you are used to with a traditional quick release system. The SRAM Predictive Steering hub proves that stability cannot be equated with inertia. The extremely precise SpeedBall bearings provide less drag and maximum smoothness making any adjustments unnecessary.
