Description:
After the worldwide success of their last album "Invisible Touch" and a massive world tour, Genesis took a three-year hiatus to take a vacation and pursue their own solo activities. In 1990, the band members got together to start recording and released their first new album in five years, "We Can't Dance," in 1991. Like the previous album, "We Can't Dance" was a worldwide hit, especially in its home country of the UK, where it recorded its best sales ever. In 1992, the band toured North America and Europe on the "We Can't Dance Tour. The tour included several stops to record for video/CD. The highlight of the tour, a concert at the Royal Albert Hall in London on November 16, will be broadcast as a BBC TV/radio special. This live album, remastered from the audio masters used for the broadcast, is the complete recording of the concert. This live performance is reminiscent of Genesis in the early 80s, as the new album is a return to the progressive rock sound of the past. Although the band has grown into a global super band, "We Can't Dance" was their last album with Phil Collins, and this is a great live performance that shows the band in their final glory! Imported domestic edition with bilingual English commentary and obi.
