<Banco del Mutuo Soccorso's "Banco", released in 1983, is one of the most representative Italian progressive pop/rock albums of the 1980s. This is the 11th studio album by Banco del Mutuo Soccorso, one of the leading Italian progressive rock bands. In 1980, at the end of the progressive rock boom, the band moved from the Ricordi label to CBS and shortened their name to Banco in an attempt to make a fresh start. The third album on the CBS label was this one, a concept album on the theme of travel. Moby Dick," a cut from this album, became the band's best-selling single in Banco's history, peaking at No. 23, and became one of the band's most popular songs. The album features guest musicians such as Beppe Cantarelli and Toto Torquati, both well-known solo artists.Includes the singles "Lontano da" and "Moby Dick," the moving ballads "Piover?" and "Allons Enfants," and "Traccia tre," a continuation of the "Traccia" series performed since their debut. 1983 release. This is the first reissue of the album on vinyl, and it will be released in a limited edition on 180g blue vinyl.
