The Jimi Hendrix Experience
Description:
Jimi Hendrix was the darling of the rock scene and rose to the top with his strong personality and unparalleled guitar technique, and he influenced many guitarists, but died after only four years of activity. The long-awaited CD release of the archive of Jimi Hendrix's legendary performances, which have been talked about by his fans, is now available! After the short-lived Band of Gypsies was disbanded, he resumed his activities with Mitch Mitchell and Billy Cox, and actively toured while recording a new album. In the midst of all this, the band performed at the "New York Pop Festival" in New York City on July 17, 1970, and the performance was recorded and broadcast as a special program on a local FM station. The discovery of the radio station's audio master led to the release of the remastered version of the album. This is one of the few live albums from this period, and is a rare archive for fans.It is hard to believe that Jimi Hendrix and the two members of the band would die two months after this show, but their performance was so powerful that his death will be sorely missed. Imported domestic edition (with obi and bilingual English commentary) Jimi Hendrix (vo, g) Noel Redding (b) Mitch Mitchell (dr)
