Hermès Pavoir ScarfVintage Herms Pavois, or 'bulwarks' 90 x 90 silk scarf, in excellent pre loved condition. Designed by the iconic French artist Philippe Ledoux, it was first issued in 1964. Its regal design depicts the beautiful nautical flags from various 16th century European nations and city states whose navies were the 'bulwarks' against agression, most often each other's. The design was reissued in Spring 1990, and again in 2012 as a dip dye scarf.
