Vintage Azzedine Alaïa large corset belt, in excellent pre-loved condition. Designed in the shape of an hourglass, it is made of laser-cut black leather, and is to this day one of Alaïa’s most famous pieces. It dates to the ready-to-wear Spring Summer 1992 collection. The openwork motifs recall the shards of moucharabiehs. By evoking 19^th century corsets, the couturier celebrated the feminine waist by playing with leather, one of his favorite fabrics, which he opens as if with lace. Dimensions: 27 x 75 cm.
