Over a 16-year career, Montreal’s retro pop classicists The High Dials have won a devoted international following and acclaim from critics including NME, Spin, All Music Guide and Brooklyn Vegan. The band’s ever-evolving sound is rooted in 60s pop but infused with soul, post-punk and electro pop influences.

The latest album Primitive Feelings is a predatory summer mix of lo-fi 90s grooves, acid rock guitars and razor-sharp humour. In a 4-star review, Shindig Magazine praised its “heady, intoxicating set of tunes which reveal hidden depths with each listen”.
