Heffy the Circus Elephant trinket dish is inspired by one of Chloe's favorite cartoons, The Many Adventure of Winnie the Pooh. She watched it religiously as a kid, not knowing exactly why it was so fascinating. As an adult, she came to realize that the very trippy dream Pooh bear had must have been responsible for her attraction to all things whimsical. It made her appreciate and adore strange, colorful and slightly terrifying things. After all, our imaginations are wild. And may this little trinket dish remind us that it shall not be tamed no matter how old we get.

Chloe Kono is an Los Angeles-based creative metalsmith. She graduated from California State University, Long Beach in 2008 with a BFA degree.

She creates one-of-a-kind bespoke jewelry which she considers wearable mood boosters.

Her obsession with all things circus comes from not only its whimsical and unhinged aesthetics, but the core idea of how uniqueness should be something to be celebrated instead of tamed.
